Post of Technical Officer (Audio Visual) (Contract basis) – External Degrees and Extension Courses Unit (EDECU)

Applications are called for the Post of Technical Officer (Audio Visual) to the EDECU (Contract basis) for an employment period of one year. 

Qualifications Required: 

Technical Officer (Audio Visual) (Contract basis)  

1. Should pass in three (3) subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination in any Stream. AND 
2. a). Having obtained a Certificate of proficiency not below than the N.V.Q. Level 5 in  the field of Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Multimedia or Audio Visual Techniques from an Institution recognized by Tertiary and Vocational  Education Commission or a Statuary Institution which has been established by an Act  passed by the Parliament. 

OR 

3. Having obtained technical qualifications in the field of Electronics and  Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Multimedia or Audio-Visual Techniques accepted  as equivalent to the above qualification of (2) (a) by Tertiary and Vocational Education  Commission with One year experience in Audio Visual work in reputed organization. 
4. Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.  

Selection by written and/or Practical test and an interview at the EDECU. Selected candidates  should enter into a bond with the EDECU to serve in the post for a period of one year on Contract  basis. 

Monthly Allowance – Rs.50,000/- 

The interested candidates should email their CV (with details of two non-related referees) with  certified copies of Birth Certificate, National Identity card, G.C.E (O/L), G.C.E (A/L), certificate  of proficiency not below than the N.V.Q. Level 5 of the above mentioned fields and other  qualifications including experience to info.ext@sjp.ac.lk on or before 16th August 2023.
