Supervisor on Assignment Basis (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing) (MEP Supervisor)
Qualification :
I. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with five (05) years of experience about maintaining of high rise
Salary : Rs. 100,000/- (With Allowances) (Negotiable)
Age : Not more than 45 years.
Service Period : The appointment will be given for an initial assignment period of one year and the assignment period of this position will be extended based on performance.
Supervisor on Contract Basis (Electrical)
Qualification :
I. National Certificate in Technology or equivalent qualifications with 3 years’ experience may be obtained while following the NCT course;
OR
II. G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in 6 subjects at not more than 2 sittings with at least 5 years’ experience as a Supervisor in the relevant field in a Government, Local Government or State Corporation or a recognized Engineering Establishment .
Salary : Rs. 54,425.00 (With Allowances)
Selection : By trade test and interview.
Age : Not more than 45 years.
Service Period : The appointment will be given for an initial contract period of 05 months and the contract period of this position will be extended based on performance.
Technical Officer on Contract Basis
Qualification :
I. Three (03) C.E. (Advance Level) passes in Science subjects in one sitting;
AND
II. Passed a skill oriented formal programme of training relevant to the post of at least one year (full-time) duration or equivalent. The acceptability of the training programme for this purpose shall be judged by faculty concerned.
Salary : Rs. 54,425.00 (With Allowances)
Selection : By written and/or practical test and an interview.
Age : Not more than 45 years.
Mason on Contract Basis
Qualification:
I. Ability to read and write.
II. Should be conversant with.
- Brick work and the different types of courses used in the construction of wall footings, wall arches, taper pillers, chimneys, sewer chambers etc.;
- All types of plaster, mixing and laying or reinforced concrete;
- Reading plans and setting out foundations for simple construction;
- Colour washing including use of emulsion paint.
III. Not less than 2 years’ experience in masonry.
Salary : Rs. 52,715.00 (With Allowances)
Selection : By trade test and interview.
Age : Not more than 45 years.
Service Period: The appointment will be given for an initial contract period of 05 months and the contract period of this position will be extended based on performance.
Driver on Contract Basis
Qualification :
I. Pass in the 8th Standard;
II. Possess a Certificate of competence issued the Commissioner of Motor Traffic to drive heavy cars and lorries;
III. At least 3 years’ driving experience;
IV. Ability to attend to running repairs;
V. Minimum height : 05 ½ ins.
VI. Should possess a good knowledge of the Highway Code;
VII. Must be physically fit for duty during day and night and must have a good eye sight.
Salary : Rs. 52,715.00 (With Allowances) Selection : By aptitude test and interview. Age : Not more than 45 years.
Service Period : The appointment will be given for an initial contract period of 05 months and the contract period of this position will be extended based on performance.
Security Guard on Contact Basis
Qualification :
I. Should have passed the 8th Standard.
II. Active participation in sports and community work.
III. Height : Not less than 5 feet 4 inches. Chest : Not less than 32 inches (Normal)
IV. Not more than 45 years.
Salary : Rs. 49,825.00 (With Allowances
Selection : By aptitude test and interview.
Service Period : The appointment will be given for an initial contract period of 05 months and the contract period of this position will be extended based on performance.
Note : All applicants are required to contribute 10% of their earnings to the University Provident Fund, and the University will contribute 15% of their earnings to the University Provident Fund. In addition, the University will contribute 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund. Overtime allowance is also paid subject to a certain limit for overtime worked due to service requirements.
