1. FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES & COMMERCE
Department of Decision Sciences
- Post of Senior Lecturer (Gr.II)/Lecturer(Probationary)/Temporary Lecturer
Preference will be given to candidates with a first degree in following fields: Operations and Technology Management, Business Administration, Mathematical Economics, Mathematical Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or English Language.
Department of Accounting
- Post of Senior Lecturer (Gr.I/II)/ Lecturer(Probationary) in Accounting
Preference will be given to candidates with a special Degree in Accounting or Postgraduate Degree in Management Information Systems.
(Interested areas of teaching: Financial Accounting and Reporting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Accounting Modeling, Computer Based Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Department of Entrepreneurship
- Post of Lecturer(Probationary)
Preference will be given to candidates with a special Degree in Entrepreneurship.
Department of Business Administration
- Post of Lecturer(Probationary)/ Temporary Lecturer
Preference will be given to candidates with a special Degree in Business Administrations and Business Management.
2. CENTRE FOR IT SERVICES
- Post of Computer Programmer
Preference will be given to candidates capable in following areas;
- Ability to develop applications on Windows, Linux & Mobile OS platforms.
- Sound knowledge in Database Designing & Management (MSSQL, MYSQL, NoSQL)) and NET, PHP, Java, HTML, and C/C++ Programming.
- Experience in Secure Programming.

Senior Lecturer (Gr. II)
Rs. 39,755 – 11 x 790 – 48,445 p.m. (U-AC 3(II)]
Lecturer (Probationary)
Rs. 27,775 – 10 x 645 – 34,225 p.m. [U-AC 3 (IV)]
Temporary Lecturer
Rs. 26,020 – 5 x 585 – 27,775 p.m. [U-AC 2)]
Computer Programmer
Rs. 24,930-19×360 – 31770 p.m. (U-AS I(I))
The other allowances determined by the University Grants Commission will be paid in addition to the above salary.
Benefits:
- Selected candidates will contribute to 10% their monthly salary to the Universities’ Provident Fund while the employer will make a contribution of 15% of their salary of which 8% will be credited to Universities Pension Fund and 7% to the Universities Provident Fund. In addition they will become contributors to the Employees Trust Fund which the University will contribute an amount equivalent to 3% of the Salary.
- Senior Lecturer Grade II and above eligible for one year of Sabbatical Leave with full pay or two years of without pay on completion of seven years of service. Further those proceeding abroad on Sabbatical Leave are eligible to receive full passage for self and spouse.
