Vidudaya Ritzbury Inter School Swimming Championship-2018 organized by the Department of Physical Education & the Sports Council of University of Sri Jayewardenepura together with its main sponsorship partner Ritzbury Chocolates was taken place on 27^th and 28^th January 2018 at the University Swimming Pool Complex. There were 96 individual events and 24 relay events with under 9, 11,13,15,17 and 19 year competitors vying for junior, senior and overall championship trophies.

Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences), participate in the event as the chief guest. Prof. Pradeep M. Jayaweera, Chairman of the Sport Advisory Board, Mrs. Nishanthi Vidanage, Director of the Department of Physical Education, Mr. Nilupul De Silva, Marketing Manager of CBL Foods International (PVT) Ltd, Mr. Aruna Liyanapathirana, Assistant Broad Manager, Ritzbury, Mr. Punchihewa Rathnayaka, Assistant Promotion Manager, Ritzbury, Mr. Sudarshana Keerthirathne, Tournament Secretary, Members of the Sports Advisory Board, , Alumni members as well as academics members of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Council participated in the Inter School Swimming Championship 2018.
