Notification to the Graduates graduated between 2000-2005, regarding the issuing of Degree Certificates
Graduates who have completed their degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura between the year 2000 and 2005, but have not yet obtained their degree certificates, must obtain these certificates within the following time periods.
For that, you have to come to the Academic Student Affairs, Publications and Examinations Division, and it is essential to bring the student record book issued to you by the University. The following requirements will be considered before the degree certificate is issued to you.
- Handing over the student ID card issued to you by the university.
- Returning the books borrowed from the university library.
- Returning the graduation cloak issued to you at the convocation.
For graduates who have completed these requirements by now, the University has arranged to make notes in the student record book or issue a letter with notes in order to prove the said requirements.
Graduates who fail to provide sufficient evidence to substantiate the above requirements must complete these requirements by arriving at the University before 12.30 pm on a working day in the week preceding the deadline specified below.
I regret to inform you that due to other duties of the Division, it is not possible to give an approximate date for the subsequent requests of the graduates who do not attend within the period given to the graduates in relation to each year.

Degree certificates are also issued in this manner to graduates of other years. Since a degree certificate of another year is issued on the dates mentioned above only for urgent and essential reasons, prior appointment should be made through telephone numbers 0112758219 / 0112758220.

උපාධි සහතික නිකුත් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් උපාධිධාරීන් වෙත කරනු ලබන දැනුම් දීම
2000 වර්ෂයේ සිට 2005 වර්ෂය දක්වා කාල සීමාව තුළ දී ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන් උපාධිය සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති නමුත්, මෙතෙක් උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සව සහතිකය ලබා නොගත් උපාධිධාරීන් පහත සඳහන් කාල සීමාවන්හි සිය උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සව සහතිකය ලබා ගත යුතුය.
ඒ සඳහා අධ්‍යයන ශිෂ්‍ය කටයුතු, ප්‍රකාශන හා විභාග අංශයට පැමිණිය යුතු අතර, විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන් ඔබ වෙත නිකුත් කර ඇති ශිෂ්‍ය වාර්තා පොත රැගෙන ඒම අනිවාර්ය වේ. උපාධි සහතිකය ඔබ වෙත නිකුත් කිරීමට පෙර පහත සඳහන් අවශ්‍යතා සළකා බලනු ලැබේ.
- විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන් ඔබ වෙත නිකුත් කර තිබූ ශිෂ්‍ය හැඳුනුම්පත නැවත බාර දීම.
- විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයීය පුස්තකාලයෙන් ඔබ විසින් ලබාගත් පොත්පත් නැවත බාර දීම
- උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සවයේ දී ඔබ වෙත නිකුත් කරන ලද උපාධි ලෝගුව නැවත බාර දීම
මේ වනවිටත් මෙම අවශ්‍යතා සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති උපාධිධාරීන්ට ඒ බව සනාථ කිරීමට හැකි වන පරිදි ශිෂ්‍ය වාර්තා පොතෙහි සටහන් තැබීම හෝ සටහන් තබන ලද ලිපියක් නිකුත් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය මගින් කටයුතු කර ඇත. ඉහත අවශ්‍යතා සපුරා ඇති බවට ප්‍රමාණවත් සාක්ෂි ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට නොහැකි උපාධිධාරීන් තමන්ට ලබා දී ඇති පහත දක්වා ඇති කාල සීමාවට පෙර සතියේ වැඩ කරන දිනයක ප.ව. 12.30 ට පෙර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට පැමිණ අවශ්‍ය කටයුතු සිදු කරවා ගත යුතුය.
එක් එක් වර්ෂයට අදාළව උපාධිධාරීන්ට ලබා දී ඇති කාල සීමාව තුළ දී නොපැමිණෙන උපාධිධාරීන් පසුව කරනු ලබන ඉල්ලීම් සඳහා අංශයේ අනෙකුත් රාජකාරී කටයුතු හේතුවෙන් ආසන්න දිනයක් ලබා දීමට නොහැකි බව කණගාටුවෙන් දන්වා සිටිමි.
