The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has announced that the “Pradeepa Pranama – 2025” awards ceremony will take place on March 27, 2025, at Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla. The event will be held under the patronage of the Chancellor, Most Venerable Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Thero.
The ceremony will recognize alumni who have made notable contributions to their respective fields and the country. Eligible candidates include government officials, entrepreneurs, scholars, ministry secretaries, department heads, sports leaders, academics, researchers, educators, and those engaged in religious or social service.
Applications for the award must be submitted by February 25, 2025, to the USJ Alumni Office (in front of Sumangala Mandiraya) or via email at japuraalumniasso@gmail.com. Applicants may also submit forms through a university student.

Applicants must provide the following details:
- Personal Information: Full name, commonly used name, NIC or passport number, contact details, and address.
- Educational Background: Schools attended, details of the first degree (admission and graduation year, faculty, and a copy of the degree certificate).
- Professional and Academic Achievements: Postgraduate qualifications, professional experience, awards, and recognitions.
- Additional Details: Recent 2×2-inch colour photograph with a white background, information on any involvement in university associations, and a signature with the date.
