The Department of Business Administration of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce embarked on a significant collaboration by formalising a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Acuity Knowledge Partners Private Limited. The core objectives underpinning this MOU includes the enhancement of synergies between academia and industry, the fostering of knowledge sharing, and the provision of practical industrial exposure to fourth-year undergraduates enrolled within the Department.
The ceremonial signing of the MOU took place on the 26th of March 2024, hosted within the university premises. This momentous event garnered the esteemed presence of Senior Professor Pathmalal M. Manage, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Mr. Jehan Jayaretnam, Senior Director, Sri Lanka Country Head and Global Head of Compliance of Acuity Knowledge Partners and Mr. Nuwan Jayawardana, Director of Acuity Knowledge Partners.
Through this collaborative endeavour, academia and industry come together to enhance educational experiences and provide valuable practical insights, further enriching the academic journey of the university’s aspiring graduates.
