Orientation Week – Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce
The Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura will conduct their orientation week for the new student intake, from 23rd to 28th February, 2015. This orientation week will provide a unique opportunity for the new students to learn about FMSC’s academic opportunities while meeting their fellow batch mates. The programme aims to cover practical aspects of living and studying in the University and the Faculty, so that the students can begin their studies with confidence. The programme will introduce them to the University, the Faculty and the student facilities. There will also be various workshops related to academic activities at campus. Furthermore, a variety of social activities will be organised, such as musical events, dramas and sports activities, which will give them the chance to meet and mingle with the other students.
The members of the university community will be available throughout this week to guide and answer any questions faced by the students.
