T.K. Kavindu Lakmal Thiyambarawatta, a student of the Department of Finance, University of Sri Jayawardenepura; Became the Champion of “KATA” (Male/ 10-7 KYU SENIOR) and the 2nd Runner-up of “KUMITHE” (Male/ 10-7 KYU SENIOR), in The National Karate Championship organized by Shotokan Karate Do Federation Sri Lanka. This Championship was held at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo on 14th February 2015.
