The official media arm of the university, Japura Media has re-launched a video for the Anthem of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
A university is expected to produce academia of competent youth who go beyond the ordinary and reach new heights continuously; this new release of the university anthem features this wholesome attitude fostered by the university and captures its essence portraying the academic activities, research, sports, arts, culture, and student life together with moments captured at its official convocation.
The lyrics of this Official Anthem of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura “Sri Lanka Pinbara Ran Derane – ශ්රී ලංකා පින්බර රන් දෙරණේ” was composed by Emeritus Professor Sunil Ariyarathna.
