Mr. H.M. Kanishka Ramesh Herath and Mr. Jayaruwan Yaswin Kumar of the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, together have established ‘Use and Eat’ as a cottage industry. Together they have introduced a product to the market that will help reduce wastage.
As the name suggests, the company provides retail service for edible products such as edible cups, tubs, spoons and forks, waffle fish cones, pizza cones and tartlet shells. They have made these products available to Hotels, restaurants, bakeries and Supermarkets.
