The Inauguration Ceremony of the MBA/MSc in Management Program – 2020 of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was successfully held on Saturday, 6th June 2020 from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm online via zoom platform.
The occasion was graced with the valuable virtual presence and the thought provoking insights of the Chief Guest, Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge; Chairman of University Grants Commission and the Guests of Honour, Dr. Ashok Fonseka; COO of Link Natural Products Private Limited and Dr. Ravi Liyanage; Chairman of Raigam Group of Companies. Senior Prof. Sudantha Liyanage; Acting Vice-Chancellor of USJ, Senior Prof. M. M. Pathmalal; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Prof. P. D. Nimal; Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Senior Prof. R. G. Ariyawansa; Chairman of Board of Study in Management Studies and Commerce, Prof. Aruna Gamage; Coordinator of MBA/ MSc in Management Program and Senior Prof. H.H.D.N.P Opatha coloured the occasion by providing valuable inspirations to the new batch of students. The lecturers of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce and MBA/ MSc in Management Programme participated this prestigious event. Ms. O.G.Y. Hemachandra, a post graduate candidate of 2019 batch shared her experience about reading for MBA/ MSc in Management Programme. Ms. Saduni Senarathna compered the session while Mr. Predeep Kumara, Dr. Ranil Peiris, and Ms. Miyuki Peiris provided technical assistance.
