Haritha Wasanthaya, the annual Sinhala Tamil New year celebrations organized by the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences of Faculty of Applied Sciences was held on the 30th March 2017 at the faculty premises. The occasion was graced by the presence of Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Dean of the faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Dean,Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and staff members of the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences and other academic members and students representing all departments of the faculty. This lively and fun filled couple of hours which undoubtedly created many an unforgettable experience to many also succeeded in bringing together all students of the faculty as one big joyful family.
