Department of Business Economics, of the Faculty of Managment Studies and Commerce, USJP, always believes that the undergraduates should not only be given theoretical knowledge, but also the practical application of such theory. Accordingly, the department organized a guest lecture on ‘Possible Impacts of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) on the Sri Lankan Economy’ for the final year undergraduates. This was held on the 28th August 2018 at the Munasinghe Hall. As the resource person, Prof. Sirimevan Colombage, Professor of the Open University of Sri Lanka shared his experience and insights on the theme.
