The inaugural issue of the research journal, Advances in Technology (Adv. Technol.), initiated by the Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was successfully launched on June 12, 2021. Advances in Technology (ISSN 2773-7098) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that covers the theoretical and experimental research pertaining to the knowledge and applications of Technology in all aspects of Applied Sciences, Engineering, and Education.
The first issue of the Advances in Technology was handed over to Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, by the Editor-in-Chief, Professor Renuka Nilmini, with the participation of the journal committee members at the journal launching ceremony held at the Vice Chancellor’s office, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
While congratulating all authors on getting their manuscripts published, the Journal and Editorial Team is grateful to all authors, reviewers and advisory committee members for the trust and the commitment showed, which helped launch the first issue.
