‘Econ-Insight 2020’ is a seminar series on Economics organized by the Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) of the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce for the candidates of 2020 G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination. This was organized with the aim of enhancing the knowledge on the subject among those candidates and also to fulfill the social responsibility of the undergraduates of the Department.
The first seminar of the series was successfully held on the 7th February 2020 at the Auditorium of the National Youth Services Council, Maharagama with the participation of more than 1100 students from Colombo district schools. Mr. Ananda Rathnayake and Dr. Janaka Fernando, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Business Economics conducted the seminar.
