Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura was awarded in the ‘SED Award 2014’ which was organized and conducted by the Small Enterprises Development Bureau, State Ministry of Youth Affairs at the BMICH on 27th March 2015.
Department of Entrepreneurship was identified as the most revolutionary academic body which is promoting entrepreneurship in the Sri Lankan education system. The national level contributions made by the Department in entrepreneurship education and projects implemented to empower small and medium enterprises were appreciated in this event. Forty entrepreneurs were awarded under four main categories and five institutions (including the Department of Entrepreneurship) were awarded for their national level contributions in the field of entrepreneurship in the ‘SED Award 2014’.
