The Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, achieved victory in the “ACCA Financial Hackathon 2024,” an Inter-University case study competition organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The awarding ceremony took place on April 25, 2024, at the ACCA Sri Lanka office.
The winning team comprised undergraduates from the Department of Accounting: Shan Dilhara, Yasiru Ranasinghe, Savindu Herath, and Melisha Fernando. Competing against eight other state university teams, they emerged triumphant.
