Commencement Lecture for Entrants to the MBBS Degree Programme, 2015
The 24th batch of undergraduates entered the MBBS Degree Programme of the Faculty of Medical Sciences with a welcoming ceremony held on 24th November, 2014 at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The Commencement Lecture, marking the beginning of academic activities for the new entrants to the MBBS Degree Programme, was delivered by Prof. Harshalal Seneviratne, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, former Dean and Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. The lecture was held on 20th January, 2015 and was titled ‘Training for a Career in Medical Sciences: the Beginning of Professionalism’.
