For the 8th consecutive year, the Association of Public Administration successfully accomplished the Annual Launching Ceremony of the ‘CLASSIC’ Educational Magazine-2020 on a timely and relevant theme of “Youth Empowerment”. The event was graced by Dr. W. A. Wijewardena, Former Deputy Governor of the Central bank of Sri Lanka as the Chief Guest, Prof.Saman Chnadra Ranasinghe from the Department of Languages and Cultural Studies, the Head and the academic staff members of the Department of Public Administration.
The Grand Finale of the Short Movie Competition organized by the Association of Public Administration as a sub-project of Classic Magazine under the theme of “Youth Empowerment” was also screened in parallel with the magazine launch. The group winners for the Best Movie- First Place, Second Place, Third Place and individual winners for the Best Director, Best Editor, Best Actress and Best Actor were selected by a distinguished panel of judges and were awarded awards, certificates, cash prizes and valuable gifts.
