Japura Alumni Australia Inc is continuing the Japura scholarship Scheme (JSS) for the 2023 academic year. Scholarship applications are now open for second year to final year students and the closing date is 31 January 2023.
Japura Alumni Australia Inc is continuing to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students who are experiencing financial hardships to complete their tertiary education for the 13th consecutive year. Japura Alumni Australia Inc has provided 352 scholarships valued at 8 million LKR up to date.
Japura Alumni Australia Inc is the association of alumni of University of Sri Jayewardenepura living in Melbourne/Australia. Fulfilling a long-standing gap in social life of Japura graduates living in Melbourne, the association was formed by a group of founding members acting as promoters in early 2008. Fostering strong relationships among the Alumni of University of Sri Jayewardenepura working and living in Australia, providing useful information regarding the University, its graduates, faculties and undergraduates to the alumni in Australia and, providing assistance to under graduates currently studying at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura are key objectives of Japura Alumni Australia Inc.
Applications for 1st year students will open in February / March 2023. Second year to final year students’ application process is started on 19th of December 2022 and thru 31st January 2023.
