A ceremony and an ashirawada pooja to bid welcome for the new year 2022 was held on 3rd of January, from 8.30 AM onwards. This event was graced by Prof.Sudantha Liyanage, the vice-chancellor of USJ, Deans of all the faculties and Registrar of USJ. The National Flag, The Buddhist Flag and were hoisted by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Laleen Karunanayake; Dean of the Science Faculty representing all the deans and the Registrar. The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar delivered speeches as well. The academic and the non-academic staff participated the event.
