Senior Prof. Sudantha Liyanage; former Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Applied Sciences assumed duties as the Acting vice-chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 6th January 2020.

Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage is the most Senior Dean among the Deans of the university. He served as the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences for more than 09 years and as the Dean of the Faculty of Technology from 2019 to 2020.
