Vijita de Silva Research Award 2018 was jointly awarded to Dr. (Mrs.) Nayana Wijayasundara, Librarian, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Mr. G. R. Padmasiri, Librarian, University of the Visual and Performing Arts at the 58th Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Library Association held on 29th June 2018. This was awarded to Dr. Wijayasundara for her research project titled “Library space planning framework of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura”.
