Two new ambulances, with advanced accessories, have been afforded to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura under the coordination of Rev. Thiniyawala Palitha Thero and Sabandi organization. One of this ambulance was afforded to the university in the year 2016 and the second one on 21st August 2018 with the participation of Ven. Thiniyawala Palitha Thero; independent Non-Executive Director in the Lanka Hospitals Corporation Ltd, Director -National Dangerous Drugs Control Board and Prof. Sampath Amaratunge; Vice-chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
