The faculty of Engineering, which was established in the year 2016, is the latest state-owned engineering training institute in Sri Lanka. Equipped with state of the art laboratories, learning facilities, and qualified academics, the Engineering faculty provides a world class engineering education to its students. The faculty of engineering offers a study program leading to the award of honours degree of the ‘Bachelor of the Science of Engineering’ in specialization areas of Civil, Computer, Electrical and Electronic, and Mechanical engineering. Our curriculum has been designed in keeping with the International Standards of Engineering Education, namely, the Washington Accord. The delivery of our program promotes student-centered learning by supplementing regular lectures and laboratory experiments with projects, seminars, presentations, discussions, research and field work. Furthermore, during the degree program, each student will be exposed to a real-life engineering experience by means of industrial training.
