2018 ලෝක පරිසර දිනයට සමගාමිව ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ පශ්චාත් උපාධි අධ්‍යයන පිඨයේ, වන පාරසරික විද්‍යා අධ්‍යයනාංශය සහ ව්‍යවහාරික විද්‍යා පිඨය එක්ව සංවිධානය කල පරිසර දින වැඩසටහන 2018 ජුනි මස 06 වැනිදා පශ්චාත් උපාධි අධ්‍යයන පිඨ ශ්‍රවනාගාරයේදී පැවැත්විය.
මේ අවස්ථාව සඳහා පශ්චාත් උපාධි අධ්‍යයන පිඨයේ පිඨාධිපති මහාචාර්ය හේමන්ති රණසිංහ මහත්මිය ඇතුළු සම්භාවනීය පිරිසක් සහභාගිවිය.
Environmental Day Program parallels to the World Environmental Day was organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies in collaboration with the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, held 6th June 2018 at the auditorium of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Prof. Hemanthi Ranasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Dr. Upul Subasinghe, Head of the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences, Prof. Pathmalal Manage, Head of the Department of Zoology, Dr. R. B. Marasinghe, Head of the Department of Medical Education and academic members of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and the Faculty of Applied Sciences participated in the event for the celebration of the Environmental Day.
