The Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura is excited to welcome its new students with the start of the Orientation Programme on April 18, 2024, at the Bandaranayake Hall, beginning at 1:00 PM.

This five-day programme is designed to introduce students to university life and includes various sessions:

Inaugural Session: A warm introduction to the university community.

Counselling Session: Providing guidance and support.

Library Orientation: Helping students access library resources.

Learning at the University Session: Sharing strategies for academic success.

Mentoring Program: Fostering mentorship relationships.

Department Visits: Exploring different departments.

FAS Open Day: Interacting with academic advisors.

The programme aims to not only prepare students academically but also nurture their personal growth. Through workshops and seminars, students will develop essential skills like leadership and teamwork, crucial for their journey ahead.
