WELCOME TO THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2024
The Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura is looking forward to welcoming new students to the faculty, for the academic year 2022/2023, as the first Management Faculty in Sri Lanka to commence the new academic year for students who sat for the G. C. E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2022.
The inauguration ceremony of the orientation programme will be held on 29th January 2024, at the Bandaranayke Hall of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 8.00 a.m. onwards.
The orientation programme provides a unique opportunity for you to learn about FMSC’s academic opportunities while getting to know your new batch mates. This programme aims to cover practical aspects pertaining to living and studying in the University and the Faculty so that you can be ready to begin your studies with confidence.
Moreover, the programme will include an introduction to the university, the faculty, and the facilities available for students. There will also be various sessions related to your academic and community supported activities on campus. All the members of the university community will be happy to guide you and answer your questions. We wish you all the best and look forward to meeting you very soon.
