Japura Employability Skills Awards 2019 organized by the Career Guidance Unit of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 20th August 2019 at the Golden Rose Hotel Boralesgamuwa.

Senior prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Anura U Kumara; Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. Sudath Manjula; Director of the Career Guidance Unit, academic members and guests graced the event.

This platform designed to award exceptional students of the university, recognizing their skills and achievements throughout the years, under various award categories such as Best Leader Award, Best Team player Award, Best Creative designer Award, Best Innovator Award, Best Communicator, Best Employability skills Achiever Award( BESA), Best Entrepreneur Award etc.
