Stakeholders Meeting organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 17th May 2018, at the Boardroom of the Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University.

Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Akila Subhasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. K. Gnanasiri Britto, Registrar of the University and a large number stakeholders participated in the meeting, including academic members of the University,  Grama Niladari (Village Officer), Police officers, and residents of Kottawa area, where the new buildings for the Faculty of Engineering has been proposed to be established. At this meeting, prior human and environmental impact evaluation was done regarding the future establishment of this new faculty buildings.
