2nd Biennial International Symposium on Polymer Science and Technology

Call for papers

The Department of Chemistry, University of Sri Jayewardenepura invites scholars/prospective participants to submit their abstract/ manuscripts to “2nd Biennial International Symposium on Polymer Science and Technology 2015 in Collaboration with Industries, Institutions and Universities” under the specific themes. The symposium will be an exceptional opportunity for national and international professionals to understand the progress in environmental, industrial and scientific developments in Polymer Science and Technology and to share their findings from various perspectives of polymer related disciplines.

Symposium proceedings will be  published online in the symposium web site and also as a printed booklet after a peer review process

1]   Guidelines for abstract submission for the Symposium proceedings

  1. The abstract must report original research.
  2. Abstracts should consist of 250-300 words
  • Title of the abstract (Font; 14, bold, Times New Roman) should be brief and explain the study reported. Capital letters should be used only for the first word of the title and proper nouns.
  1. Name of the Author/Authors with the institutional affiliation and contact information (e-mail is required) Font; 12, Times New Roman.
  2. Body of the abstract should consist of introduction, objectives, methodology and findings. Font; 12 (body), Times New Roman
  3. Key words; 3-5 (Italics)
  • Language: English

2]   Guidelines for submission of extended abstracts

Should consist of 2 pages and consist of the following sections (Font; 14, Times New Roman, double spacing)
 Title
Introduction, Background and Objectives
Methodology (Research design with materials and methods)
Results / Findings Results and Discussion
Discussion could be combined with above
Conclusions
References
Acknowledgement
